Coconut Day This day is celebrated to emphasize and raise awareness about the importance as well as benefits of coconuts.
Teacher’s day In India, it is celebrated on September 5 to mark the birthday of former President, scholar, philosopher, and Bharat Ratna recipient, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Across India, students honour and pay tribute to their teachers by sending Teachers Day greetings, quotes, messages, etc.
Ganesh Chathurthi Ganesh Chaturthi, also called Vinayaka Chavithi, is an auspicious Hindu festival which is celebrated for 10 days every year. The festival is celebrated in the Bhadra month as per the Hindu calendar which generally falls in mid-August to September. It marks the birthday of the beloved elephant-headed Lord Ganesha.
Gandhi Jayanthi Gandhi Jayanti is observed every year on October 2 to mark the birth anniversary of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, often known as Mahatma Gandhi. This day provides an excellent chance for countrymen to pay tribute to this great leader, who gave his life for the benefit of the country.
Kolu celebration Kolu also has a significant connection with the agricultural and handicrafts professions in India. Besides the economic aspect of the festival, it is an important occasion for socializing. During this season relatives and friends in south India make it a point to visit each other’s homes.
